Ugh, RomanceTale. I had such high hopes for this dating site but it was a total letdown! First off, the user profiles are public and anyone can view them – not exactly ideal if you’re looking for some privacy when online dating. Plus there’s no way to set up a custom bio so all of your info is just out there in plain sight. The location information on each profile isn’t great either; sure you can hide it from other users but that defeats the purpose of using an online dating service altogether!

Speaking of which, there’s also no indication as to how far away any potential matches might be located from one another – making finding someone close by virtually impossible without having access to their exact address or zip code (which obviously ain’t gonna happen). And what about premium subscriptions? I’ve contacted them multiple times and the response time was always too slow or nonexistent. The only way to contact their support team is via email – which can take days before getting any kind of reply from them (if at all).
